Good Morning!
Today I will be heading into Greenville to go through some items in the classroom and prepare your things for pick up next week. I have posted a review choice board for today and you can also catch up on some work you might have missed in your activity journals on Seesaw. It is also a good time to just catch up on some reading, drill and practice sounds and sight words,  tapping and blending words, not to mention GET OUT side and move, it's a beautiful day!! I will be at school until 12:30 and will be available from 12:30 until 2 if you need to contact me for any reason. I will see all on your Zooms this week. Thank you and have a great day!!

Again, I hope you had a restful Spring Break!  Keep up all that you are doing at home!  You are doing a great job!

**Please make sure to check out the documents under the LINKS section to the right.  These are great resources to view, that cover some important phonics skill sets the children have been introduced to this year.  A good daily practice is watching and repeating the Sound Drill Practice power point to keep up with their sounds. This will in turn help with fluency in their writing and reading.

Thank you for your effort and patience with the transition to remote learning/SeeSaw. We wanted to remind you that activities are being assigned in SeeSaw for each individual day. Please ensure that students are fully reading directions prior to completing activities in Seesaw to ensure your student is completing all required steps.

If you are not able to complete the Seesaw activities, please email your teacher at the end of each day ensuring the assignments are completed in the My Fundations Journals. The assignments can be found on the teacher’s district website. Reminder, students are required to log 20-minutes or more of individual reading on the paper reading log, each day!

First Grade Teachers

Please check email messages and this site daily. All families who are able, should install the Seesaw App on your personal learning devices. If you already signed up, a home learning code has been sent to you. This will allow students to access and complete assignments, receive support as needed, and provide consistent communication throughout the school closure. If you do not have the means to access SeeSaw, daily lessons will be posted here, just click on the link in the green box to the right marked remote learning. Students will be assigned activities to meet the required 2 hours of remote learning daily. Teacher office hours are 10-2, Monday thru Friday; please reach out during these times with questions or concerns.
