Happy New Year and Welcome to the Gym!
2024-2025
My name is Mrs. Jurlina and I am here 5 days a week and Mr. DelPriora (itinerant PE teacher) is here on Fridays.
All students will participate in gym 2x a week. During the first trimester, 5th grade will have gym 3x a week; one of the days will include Family Life.
Students need to be prepared in the following way to meet success in the gym:
- safe shoes
- safe clothes for movement
- water bottle- optional
- note from home/doctor if student is unable to participate during gym class
- student assessment occurs 3x a year (trimesters)
- assessment includes: CONTENT (skill performance and knowledge) and CONDUCT (student participation)
- students (grades 1-5) will participate in the district JOG TEST once a trimester
